Overview

St. James' School is a small, family like day and boarding school and we pride ourselves in offering an excellent all-round education to children of all ages and cultures. Our aim is to ensure that all children within our school achieve their full potential. Since we are a small school we pride ourselves in the flexibility we are able to offer all of our international students. Some have completely individualised timetables to suit his or her exact needs. Our class sizes are small so that children may receive the individual attention that we feel they deserve. Our boarding houses have around 20 girls and 20 boys; they are like small family units, which is ideal for our youngest boarders.

Unique Points

One thing that is definitely true of joining a small school is that the attention and pastoral care that we are able to give our children is excellent. In our recent ISI inspection our pastoral care was denoted as OUTSTANDING in almost every aspect of school life. In addition to our academic subjects we teach employability and life skills that we feel will be vital to all of the students later in their working lives.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements include Headteacher and teacher recommendations, past school reports and results, completion and satisfactory result of English test (provided by St James') and Interview (this can be by Skype).
