Overview

Rossall School is a British co-educational boarding school with an international outlook. The school is situated on a safe 160 acre campus on the North West coast of England. It has an art studio, a modern music school, an observatory and astronomy centre, a swimming pool, an all weather pitch, playing fields and much more. The school has recently under gone extensive modernisation to further enhance the high quality education it offers.

International students (from 11 to 16) spend between one month and one year in the “International Study Centre” (ISC) developing their English language and academic knowledge, as well as learning the necessary study and social skills for a successful career in British education. Once a student is ready they can transfer directly into the main British school at Rossall, or apply to another school.

Students who can demonstrate proficient English language skills are able to go directly into the main British school without entering the ISC. Students over 17 can only apply for the main British school, and must have strong English language and academic skills.

The ISC offers an “English Language and Academic Course” and a “1 Year (I)GCSE Course”. The British school offers a “2 Year (I)GCSE Course”, “A-Levels”, and the IB diploma course
